Spains equivalent to the RNLI, except these guys are funded by the Government, overall the Rescue Services are good and more than adequate for the sailing area, with coverage provided by ribs, fast craft, large tugs, helicopters and survey planes. Illegal immigration and drug trafficking can be a problem at times and the authorities are working hard to deter it.
