Over 3000 hours of Sunshine

The South East corner of Spain has possibly the best climate in Europe, we are blessed with year round sailing and mild winters and long sunny summers. There is nearly always a sailing breeze and the sea breeze rarely fails during the peak season. Access is good as the area is serviced by 5 International airports, Granada, Almeria, San Javier, Alicante and Valencia. Train and buses operate to all main towns and the E15 motorway runs along the coast making transport easy however you choose to arrive.
Our central location on Spain's Costa Calida, provides an excellent base from which to explore, to the north we have the Costa Blanca where you will find the ports of Torrevieja, Alicante, Altea and Denia. The latter two provide the are ideal departure points for crossing to the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera. Further north lies the Gulf of Valencia, which played host to the 32nd Americas Cup.
If heading South, once past Cartagena and Mazarron, the Costa de Almeria opens up, from where a 70 mile crossing will get you to Melilla, one of the North African Spanish enclaves, if sticking to the coast is more appealing, the Costa del Sol offers plenty of marinas, including the better known Fuengerola, Estepona and Sotogrande. From there it is just a short sail to Gibraltar or into the Straits and through the Pillars of Hercules and out into the Atlantic. If crossing the Straits, Ceuta is a must see Spanish enclave, with magnificent buildings standing proud and full of history, whilst Morocco lies just around Punta Almina from where a trip inland will provide you with the real Morocco.
All in all our fantastic location opens up all these destinations that can be reached with relative ease, for those with more time or a greater sense of adventure, the Islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Corsica, Sardinia, Scicily and Malta remain in reach even with a small crew.
