Following an uneventful crossing, the cruise arrived in Mallorca to find Sant Elmo our intended destination resembling a wave machine, I had a hunch this may be the case and a quick diversion was made into Port Andratx who were more than happy to accomodate us. Awoke to no wind and glancing up saw 3 windvanes on the mast heads all poinint in different directions, the forecast is pretty much windless for the next couple of days, so it looks like we need to explore the island by land. When in Mallorca it worth visiting the Cathedral, taking the old train to Soller and spending a few hours in the old town

The go-n-sail Cruise in Company arrives in the Balearics, so far the weather has not been great but with meals ashore, drinks on the beach and some great company the lack of useable sailing winds and brilliant sunshine has not dampened our spirits. Hoping to reach Mallorca on Friday for a couple of days before returning to Formentera.

The lifting bridge El Estacio that gives access to the Mar Menor from the Med and vice versa has new opening hours, the openings are now 08.00, 10.00, 12.00, 18.00 and 20.00 hours.
